The Price of Certainty

As we bear witness, in 2024, to the continued and almost unbelievable polarisation of politics in the United States, the gulf grows wider. As promises are broken, too many people desperate for certainty are led to believe that the other side is always wrong, and relish in passing the blame for uncertainty from one captive scapegoat to the next.
In an uncertain world misinformed or manipulated certainty can be a very dangerous thing, and it feeds into human natures need to find certainty in all things that effect our perceived ‘quality’ of life, or the ideals behind ‘The American Dream’.
There’s more to what you believe than you think.
